While working as full-time teachers in the Eden Prairie School District, a pair of teachers joined forces and created “Two Teacher Construction.” We began building decks under the summer sun to earn some extra income. Along the way we lost one of the “two teachers.” Nevertheless, original owner Steffan Madsen continues the business with his wife Shelly and has built Two Teacher Construction, Inc. into a highly reputable year round deck building company recognized by the BBB as an A+ rated company. By teaching and training our own employees, we are able to maintain high quality standards on all of our projects. Our customers have voted Two Teacher Construction, Inc. winners of the Readers Choice Award six years in a row
